These are events at which the Garment Goddess is either performing, vending or both. Please check back frequently as this page will be updated often. The Dragon's Delight, jewelry-maker extraordinaire, often vends with the Garment Goddess.
APRIL
April 23, 24, 25th, 2010, The Pittsburgh Comicon, Monroeville Convention Center, 209 Mall Blvd, Monroeville, PA 15146. Hours: Friday 1-7pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 10am-5pm. Admission: $18/day, $45 for 3 day pass, FREE on Sunday if you come in costume, kids under 8 free with paid adult. Sunday is Kidz Day: kids under 12 are free, with special kid events and giveaways. The Garment Goddess is offering giveaways to kids, and presenting bellydance lessons by Princess Jasmine on Sunday around noon. Other special events by the Garment Goddess and The Dragon's Delight: on Friday a preview bellydance duet around 4pm, and on Saturday at 2pm a full hour show of Latin and Bellydance with a free 15 minute lesson to follow. Both the Garment Goddess and the Dragon's Delight will be vending at the Comicon all 3 days.

MAY
May 1, 2010, Saturday, Club Cafe 56-58 South 12th St., Pittsburgh, PA 15203. Beltane themed bellydance performance, with both the Garment Goddess and the Dragon's Delight performing. 10pm-1am, with DJ Eric Justin. $7 cover, 21+.
May 8, 2010, Saturday, Oasis Student Salon. The Garment Goddess will be performing as one of Joanna Abel's students (3rd St. Bellydance).

May 28, 2010, Friday, Raks Sharki Souk, Bellydance show and bazaar, plus open dance floor after the show with DJ. Both the Garment Goddess and the Dragon's Delight with be performing and vending. Located at the Allegheny Unitarian Universalist Church (North Side), 416 W. North Ave. (near Resaca Pl.), Pittsburgh, PA 15212. $5 cover, all ages. 7:30pm-10:30pm.
JUNE
June 19, 2010, Saturday, Antique & Collectible Fair, Pleasant Hills Borough Building, Community Room, 410 E. Bruceton Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. Free admission and parking. 9am-3pm. Both the Garment Goddess and the Dragon's Delight will be vending.
June 26, 2010, Saturday, Anthrocon, David Lawrence Convention Center, 1000 Duquesne Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15222-3622. Genvieve of the Garment Goddess and Zaara of the Dragon's Delight will be participating in the Masquerade as black & white swans. JULY
July 30, 2010, Friday, Bellystock, Grandview Park, 499 Bailey Ave., Mt. Washington, PA 15210. 7pm. The Garment Goddess will be performing as one of Joanna Abel's students (3rd St. Bellydance). The incredible tribal bellydance group Unmata will be performing and giving workshops this weekend, as well as our favorite local belly-band Ishtar.
AUGUST
August 6, 7, & 8, 2010 Steel City Con, Monroeville Convention Center, 209 Mall Blvd, Monroeville, PA 15146. "Where Pop Culture Rules!" aka The Pittsburgh Toy, Comic, & Childhood Collectibles Show. Both the Garment Goddess and the Dragon's Delight will be vending all 3 days. $10/Day, or $20 for a 3-Day Pass. Under 12, $5/Day or $10 for a 3-Day Pass. Hours for the show are Friday the 6th, 2-7pm, Saturday the 7th, 10am-5pm, Sunday the 8th, 10am-4pm. Check out www.steelcitycon.com for further details.
SEPTEMBER
September 4, 2010, Saturday, "the World is Dancing" - International Dance & Music Fest. 5-9pm, family friendly event with the Garment Goddess performing as Princess Jasmine for the children's hour (5-6pm). Both the Garment Goddess and the Dragon's Delight will be vending. Located at the Allegheny Unitarian Universalist Church (North Side), 416 W. North Ave. (near Resaca Pl.), Pittsburgh, PA 15212. $10 admission, children 10 & under are free. Henna, face painting, and chair massage, as well as many great performances and other vendors. FREE vegan pizza and drinks while supplies last.
September 11, 2010, Saturday, Carnegie Arts & Heritage Festival, Carnegie, PA. The Garment Goddess will be performing there as part of 3rd St. Bellydance around 8pm. More details TBA.
OCTOBER
October 3, 2010, Sunday, Greater Pittsburgh Pagan Pride Day, Four Seasons Lodge, Boyce Park, Monroeville/Plum, PA. 11am-7pm. Activities, vendors, rituals, and much more! Both the Garment Goddess and the Dragon's Delight will be vending. Please bring a non-perishable food donation for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, and/or pet food/supplies for Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley.
